Director of Aispace and Integration
Christian Karns is a retired FAA air traffic controller who led numerous successful airspace optimization “metroplex” efforts where he led teams to redesign Atlanta and South-Central Florida airspace. Christian also served as the FAA Eastern Service Area, Performance Based Navigation Co-Lead and is an expert on military-airspace management. For his efforts on the South-Central Florida Metroplex project, Christian was awarded the Department of Transportation, Secretary’s Team Award. Christian is currently the Director of Airspace and Integration for Rinaldi Consultants and runs the airspace team for Airspace Data.
